  • What is your treatment philosophy?

At Gage and Associates, we believe that treatment is most effective when it’s guided by the client. This client-directed approach empowers individuals to set their own treatment goals. Recovery from substance use is not one-size-fits-all—there are many paths, and each person’s experience with alcohol or drug use is unique. We prioritize honesty, open-mindedness, and willingness, using a variety of proven therapeutic techniques to support each client’s journey toward recovery.

  • Are you a 12-step program?

While many of our clients find value in 12-step programs like Alcoholics Anonymous (AA) or Narcotics Anonymous (NA), we don’t require participation in any specific recovery philosophy. Some clients are introduced to 12-step programs during treatment and may continue with them afterward, but our goal is to help each individual find the recovery support network that works best for them.

  • How do I get started with treatment?

To begin treatment, just give us a call at 815-434-0034 to schedule an initial assessment or intake appointment. If you’ve already completed your assessment, you can move straight to scheduling your enrollment/intake.

  • How much does treatment cost?

Costs vary depending on the level of care and length of treatment.

  • Does insurance cover treatment?

We do not accept insurance, Medicare, or Medicaid. However, we’re happy to work with clients to help them obtain reimbursement when possible.

  • How do I arrange payments or get help with billing?

For all billing inquiries or to set up payment arrangements, please contact our office at 815-434-0034.

  • How long does treatment last?

The duration of treatment depends on your individual needs and is guided by SUPR standards.

  • Can I take medication during treatment?

Clients are expected to abstain from alcohol, illegal drugs, and any unapproved medications while in treatment.
