Court-Ordered DUI Early Intervention and Secondary Prevention Services
Gage and Associates offers DUI Early Intervention & Secondary Prevention Services both online and in-person. These services are considered pre-treatment and are designed to help individuals identify and address risk factors associated with substance use. The goal is to assist individuals in recognizing the potential harm of inappropriate substance use before more intensive treatment is needed.
Early Intervention and Secondary Prevention services are specifically for those who:
- Have received a “Moderate Risk” classification following their DUI Evaluation
- Have been referred for a Treatment Needs Assessment due to an alcohol or drug-related incident but do not meet the diagnostic criteria for a substance use disorder
In the state of Illinois, all DUI offenders with a “Moderate Risk” classification are required to complete 12 hours of Early Intervention & Secondary Prevention Services following their DUI Risk Education. These services are commonly referred to as “DUI Classes,” “DUI Services,” or “Alcohol Classes”.
At Gage and Associates, our professional DUI Counselors are available to guide you through the specifics of your DUI Evaluation and clarify which services are required for your situation.
